Motorola Triumph for Virgin Mobile out in July

For anybody who had mobile service with Virgin Mobile USA will be happy to see a new Android phone coming out this July. The Triumph is a single-core device with a 1GHz processor the Triumph does feature a 4.1" display and 512MB of RAM. Storage comes in the form of a 2GB microSD card can be expanded up to 32GB. It also comes with a 5mp camera on the back as well as a VGA camera on the front for video calling. Powering the Triumph is a 1400mAh battery which is expected to last for 8 hours of talk time and it will ship with Android 2.2 installed. Unsurprisingly it won't offer 4G connectivity but it does support 3G networks for speeds of up to 3.1Mbps.

At $299.99 the Triumph may not match the price of better spec'd handsets on a contract but for the extra $100 the buyer can rest safe in the knowledge that they're not chained to the phone for two years. While it can be pre-ordered from Virgin Mobile USA at the moment customers can sign up to be notified when it arrives.
